Tower View Team invites you, your groups or your business to design a scarecrow for the Scarecrow Invasion happening during the month of October 2019 in downtown Jefferson. All scarecrows must celebrate a movie – think a Scarlett O’Hara scarecrow from Gone With The Wind, a John Wayne scarecrow from True Grit, or maybe a Darth Vader scarecrow from Star Wars or what about a shark scarecrow from Jaws! You decide but it has to have a movie theme to it and we don’t want all of them to be that one from the Wizard of Oz – think outside the box but inside the movies! Let’s celebrate Fall downtown this year with the first annual Scarecrow Invasion! We want as many as possible sitting, standing and hanging around so get the word out and start creating!
