Jefferson Municipal Airport

Don Monthei Airfield

Jefferson has been the host of an airport since 1937, serving our community as well as the surrounding areas. Although the face, name and location of the Jefferson Municipal Airport have changed in the last 77 years, the small-town amenities have remained.

At the Don Monthei Airfield, you will find:

  • A 3200 ft. lighted, concrete runway
  • GPS and NDB instrument approaches
  • Fixed base operation with full services
  • A courtesy car

The airfield is two miles east of Jefferson on Lincoln Highway, for more information or reservations call (515) 386-4429.
