NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE STATUS OF FUNDED ACTIVITIES FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSON

Pursuant to the requirements of Section 508 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1987, as amended, the Jefferson City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 5:30 P.M. at Jefferson City Hall, 220 North Chestnut St., Jefferson, IA 50129. The purpose of the hearing will be to discuss the status of funding for the City of Jefferson Upper Story Housing Program. The project, located at 100 East State Street, Jefferson, Iowa 50129, is being funded in part through a Community Development Block Grant provided by the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the City of Jefferson.

During the course of the public hearing a review of the following will be presented: a general description of accomplishments to date, a summary of expenditures to date, a general description of remaining work and a general description of changes (if any) made to the project budget, performance targets, activity schedules, project scope, objectives or beneficiaries, and a description of how the public has reasonable access to all local meeting, project records, and information relating to the proposed and actual use of CDBG funds.

Interested citizens are encouraged to attend this Status of Funded Activities Public Hearing.
