The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Iowa, will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting at the Municipal Center in Jefferson, Iowa, on May 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., on the City Council’s proposal to sell property located at 203 W. Harrison St., in Jefferson, Iowa, legally described as “The alley running North and South through the center of the North Half (N1/2) of Block 34, Original Town of Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa,” to 203 W Harrison, LLC, for the amount of $25.00 to confirm title in that Block 34 in the Original Town of Jefferson. All local residents who appear at said meeting shall be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the proposal. At the meeting, or any adjournment thereof, the City Council of Jefferson may adopt resolutions and motions, as necessary, determining whether or not to proceed with the proposal.
