NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF COST, AND SETTING DATE FOR RECEIVING BIDS FOR GREENE COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER PROJECT

The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Iowa, will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting at the Municipal Center in Jefferson, Iowa, on August 24, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, and setting date for receiving bids for the Greene County Animal Shelter Project.

The Project consists of a single construction contract that includes general construction, mechanical construction (including plumbing, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning), and electrical construction (including power, lighting, communication, and fire safety).

All local residents who appear at said meeting shall be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost. At the meeting, or any adjournment thereof, the City Council of Jefferson may by resolution enter its decision on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, and setting date for receiving bids
