The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Iowa, will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting at the Municipal Center in Jefferson, Iowa, on August 8th, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., on the proposal to grant an easement to Hardin Hilltop Wind, LLC, under and over a parcel of land consisting of approximately 0.28 acres located in the northwest corner of property described as Lot 1 of the NWfr¼ NE¼ of Section 4, Township 83 North, Range 30 West of the 5th P.M., Greene County, Iowa (the site of City wells Nos. 7 and 8) in consideration of the sum of $5,000.00.
All local residents who appear at said meeting shall be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the proposals. At the meeting, or any adjournment thereof, the City Council of Jefferson will adopt ordinances and resolutions, as necessary, determining whether or not to proceed with the proposals.
