NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF JEFFERSON, IOWA, AND
OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT 2023 DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES FLOODPLAIN ORDINANCE

The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Iowa, will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting at the Municipal Center in Jefferson, Iowa, on September 26, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., on the proposal to move forward with the readings and eventual adoption of the 2023 Iowa Department of Natural Resources Floodplain Ordinance.
All local residents who appear at said meeting shall be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the proposal. At the meeting, or any adjournment thereof, the City Council of Jefferson will decide whether or not to move forward with readings of the ordinance for its eventual adoption.
This notice is given by order of the City Council on September 12, 2023.
