The City of Jefferson does license bicycles; it is not mandatory, but highly suggested. The fee for the license is $3. The licenses may be purchased at the LEC at 204 S. Chestnut, Jefferson. REMINDER: All bicycles need to observe the ?Rules of the Roads? such as stopping at all stop signs and yielding to vehicles on the right.
